I mean, collecting, washing, repacking, how is this faster or cheaper than just manufacturing new?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Labor is cheap in Vietnam. Condom manufacturing machines are expensive. Also, said machine requires infrastructure (power, water, space, raw latex). "remanufacturing" only requires some pails of soapy water, some wrappers and glue and some willing labor.

I want to know who is providing their used condoms for recycling. Who thinks that goes anywhere other than the trash can?

This message brought to you small domestic sheepskin producers. Putting the PHAAAAA in prophylactic for going on thousands of years now.

Those old school lamb condoms were far too durable (and although they’re pretty effective contraceptives, they’re pants at preventing STD/I spread) and long lived for modern consumer culture. Just like durable, natural wool garments, industry has attacked the many valuable products of the delicious domestic sheep! We aim to reclaim our former glory! (at least the wool part... also: eat more lamb! it’s delicious and has lower environmental costs than beef, pork, or even (factory) chicken!)

Police said the bags weighed more than 360 kilograms (794 lbs), equivalent to 345,000 condoms, according to VTV.
The owner of the warehouse said they had received a “monthly input of used condoms from an unknown person,” state newspaper Tuoi Tre reported.
A ll from one person?

Wool is awesome. Seriously, it really is. I ’m not just shilling for my industry. Wool blankets are the best.

On a dirty jobs episode at a sewage treatment plant there was a giant strainer and it was collecting “rainbow trout”

The lamb skin condoms were my favorite. My wife couldn’t take birth control, and before we were ready for kids, they were my go-to. Expemsove, but worth it. Didn’t have to worry about STDs. Now I’m snipped, so I don’t need those anymore.

How are you two getting on out there. Hay season going well for you with no major equipment or plant growth related issues?
With how this year has been going for the world you might consider keeping your barn upright while you’re at it. :P

Three hundred and forty five thousand???
A job cleaning all of those seems less like a job and more like a circle of hell in Dante's inferno.

They might be allowed to keep what they find, though

So, Vietnam has found a way to significantly cut unemployment. Way to bury the lede there. ;)
